I’ve been obsessed with fitness since I was a kid, but not always in a healthy way. Growing up in a strict religious environment, the idea that 'I wasn't good enough' was drilled into me. So, I did what I thought was right—I punished myself. I punished myself in the gym, and I punished myself in the kitchen. 'No Pain, No Gain,' right?
But that mentality backfired. I struggled with body image issues and disordered eating, pushing my body to the breaking point. I developed chronic joint pain, and at my worst, I tipped the scales at 245 pounds. I was trapped in a body that I didn’t recognize.
I reached a crossroads: keep spiraling or rebuild from the ground up. I chose to rebuild.
Re-learning everything I thought I knew about health became my salvation. And now, it’s my mission to guide others on their journey to true health—because I know firsthand how it feels to be lost, and I also know how incredible it feels to find your way.
